5: Understanding Research and Statistics

This module enables students to develop an understanding of the evidence-based practice. Also, this module develops qualitative research approaches, quantitative research methods, and statistics to address health priorities in Singapore.

Develop a further understanding of research, how it is quality assessed and how to implement it as an evidence-based practice. Consideration of the way that quantitative and qualitative research design will help students to see the link between the health priorities of Singapore and research.

The research ethics and professional considerations in this module form part of this module as the protection of people is a crucial aim in all nursing and healthcare research.

6: Health and Physical Assessment

This module equips students with knowledge and skills in health and physical assessment of the body systems in the deteriorating adult. It includes a holistic approach, incorporating a structured physical evaluation of the unwell client.

This module also presents acutely or with a long-term health condition, and consideration of the mental health and well-being impact of this.

7: Healthcare Ethics and Law

SkillsFuture Credit Information
