Mask. Disinfect. Distance. Get Vaccinated
As we get back on track from the pandemic that has wrought havoc all over the world, we would like to remind everyone of the minimum health and safety protocols inside the campuses and locations of CSM Academy International, as well as it should be practised in other public places.
1. Mask Up
Despite your vaccination status and the state of your health, always remember to wear a mask whenever in a public place. It goes without saying that your mask should be worn properly, making sure that the sides of your face, the gaps between your nose and cheeks, and the curve of your chin are properly covered. 3-ply Surgical Masks need to be replaced every four hours as they lose potency over continuous exposure. Remember that the SARS-CoV-2 is an airborne virus, and its current mutations are highly infectious.
2. Wash Your Hands, or Disinfect
Surfaces that are beyond your exclusive access or use are potential carriers of infective substances. You never know when a person had touched this surface and left spots of the virus that you might accidentally take in. Always make sure to disinfect your hands if running water and soap are currently inaccessible, and wash your hands as often as possible.
3. Mind your Distance
Due to the airborne nature of the virus that causes Covid-19, remember to keep as much distance from other people as possible. 1-2 metres is a good distance to keep between you and others around you.
4. Get Vaccinated
If you haven’t yet, make sure to sign up and get vaccinated as soon as possible. Any vaccine available is as potent as any in protecting you from the virus. There is no point in waiting for a ‘better’ vaccine if you continue to be exposed to the possibility of severe illness or death brought by Covid-19.
5. Stay Home
If there is no pressing necessity for you to leave the safety of your home, stay home.
6. Watch Out For Symptoms
Should you, at any point, begin to experience any of the known symptoms of Covid-19, please stay home and isolate yourself.
Inside CSM Academy Campuses and Locations
For the safety of our students and staff, the following protocols are strictly observed through the duration of the pandemic:
- Face Masks are required to be worn at all times inside enclosed areas of CSM Academy’s campuses and locations
- Temperatures are checked before entry to any premise
- Persons who have temperatures exceeding 37.5 degrees Celsius will be asked to go home
- Mandatory Contact Tracing upon entry
