About Authorised Student Recruiters
Authorised Student Recruiters (ASRs) are individuals or organisations formally appointed by CSM Academy International to undertake student recruitment, marketing, and student advisory activities on behalf of the Academy.
Important — Fees & Payments
ASRs are not authorised to collect, receive, process, or retain any tuition fees, application fees, miscellaneous fees, or any other payments from prospective or enrolled students under any circumstances.
All payments relating to course applications and enrolment must be made directly to the official bank account of CSM Academy International Pte. Ltd. through the Academy’s approved payment channels.
Roles and Responsibilities
Authorised Student Recruiters are responsible for:
- Promoting CSM Academy International’s programmes in an ethical, professional, and transparent manner;
- Providing accurate and comprehensive information about the Academy’s courses, admission requirements, fees, funding schemes (where applicable), and student support services;
- Conducting pre-course counselling and checking Minimum Entry Requirements are met to assist prospective students in selecting programmes that align with their educational and career aspirations;
- Ensuring that all information provided to prospective students is accurate, current, and consistent with CSM Academy International’s official policies and published materials;
- Referring prospective students to the Academy whenever clarification or specialised advice is required.
Training and Compliance
To ensure consistent service standards and regulatory compliance, all ASR personnel who perform the role of Course Counsellors or Student Recruitment Representatives are required to:
- Successfully complete training conducted or approved by CSM Academy International;
- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the Academy’s programmes, admission procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements;
- Comply fully with CSM Academy International’s policies, procedures, Code of Conduct, and student recruitment standards;
- Adhere to all applicable requirements of Skills & Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), and other relevant regulatory authorities.
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in the suspension or termination of the ASR’s appointment by CSM Academy International.
