The Advanced Diploma in Business Administration (Adv DipBA) provides the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical aspects to meet career opportunities in the commercial, manufacturing, financial, and service sectors. It empowers students with strategic insights and management skills essential for the global business environment.
Students will engage in independent learning, research, and coursework to deepen their understanding of business operations and strategy.

The course comprises 6 modules.
Course Modules & Synopsis
1. Strategic Management Helps students understand the nature of strategic management, introducing theories and methods to think strategically. Students reflect critically on the strategic behavior of organizations and integrate previous learning.
2. Business Communication Explores theoretical aspects of communication and their application. Focuses on effective communication techniques, critiquing organizational practices, negotiating, and giving feedback for professional development.
3. Financial Management II Develops knowledge of financial management in an international context. Covers working capital management, investment appraisal techniques, and evaluating financing decisions.
4. Managing International Business Analyzes why businesses enter the international arena and the strategies adopted. Examines the impact of culture, financial systems, entry barriers, and risk factors on operations globally.
5. New Enterprise Creation Integrates entrepreneurship, corporate venturing, and social enterprise with new venture creation. Helps students appreciate the process of creating new ventures within the context of their enterprise skills.
6. Contemporary Issues in Human Resource Management (HRM) Introduces contemporary themes and trends affecting HRM. students evaluate theories and perspectives in changing environmental conditions and recommend courses of action.
Entry Requirements
Minimum Academic Requirements
- Diploma in Business Administration awarded by a local Polytechnic, CSM Academy International, or other relevant Diploma holders.
English Language Requirement
- IELTS with a minimum overall band of 5.0.

Assessment & Graduation
Assessment Methodology
Modules are assessed through a mix of coursework-based assessments and examinations (individual and team-based).
Graduation Requirements
To graduate, a student must complete and pass a total of 6 modules.
- Local Students: Must achieve an attendance of 75%.
- International Students: Must achieve an attendance of 90% in any month.
Upon successful completion, the Advanced Diploma in Business Administration will be conferred by CSM Academy International.
