Elaine Boulter

Clinical Academic

Eilaine is a Clinical Academic Nurse Consultant for Older People which is a joint appointment with NHS Tayside 3 days a week and 2 days a week is spent within the University of Dundee.

Eilaine has over 19 years of experience working in primary care and community nursing. After qualifying as a registered Adult Nurse Eilaine spent 5 years working in 2 Nursing Homes, she then joined NHS Tayside and worked in District Nursing Services for 9 years, holding positions as: Community Staff Nurse, District Nurse, District Nurse Team Leader and Clinical Team Leader.

Prior to taking up her current post Eilaine worked in Medicine for the Elderly services as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner which spanned across the patients journey in primary and secondary care.
