Leong Chun Chong has more than four decades of working experiences in both the industry and then the Academia. He has recently retired and is now involved in CSM Academy as a member of the Academic and Examination Board. Through the past years, he had been the Consultant/Facilitator for CSM Academy’s annual Strategic Planning meeting.
He had held a diversified portfolio in Singapore Polytechnic and Temasek Polytechnic across a span of 20 years as Senior Lecturer in the Dept of Business, Manager of International Student Offices, Assistant Director in Registrar’s office, Assistant Director/International Relations & Industry Services. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Tourism Academy on Sentosa Island, a sub-division of Temasek Polytechnic.
Prior to becoming an Academic, Mr Leong was in senior management positions in Multi-national Corporations and Government Linked Corporations, namely, Chartered Industries of Singapore when he first graduated and Patience and Nicholson Pte Ltd before he joined the National Iron and Steel Mill Group where he rose to become their General Manager in the eighties. With his vast experience in the industry, he joined the Academia to impart and share his knowledge with the next generation of youth.
